Design, construction and contract with Crowley Project Management administration as an independent consultancy with specific responsibity to Crowley PM as required and which has included dealing rooms, storage and testing facilities for Toshiba, dealing room for Okasan, lighting and general consultancy to Maclean Hunter, consultancy to McGraw Hill, dealing room for Butler Harlow

1984 - 1987 Brian Ford Partnership - Partner. Opened London office employing 30 staff, work included ac speculative retail units, ac Hi tech units in Crawley and Reading; 80,000sf offices London; 70,000sf general office and dealer facilities for leading bang, upgraded computer centre for merchant bank, hotels including 300, 180 and 60 room with the attendant facilities.

1972 - 1984 T G Armstrong and Partners. Became a partner in 1975 and opened an office in York employing 12 personnel. Projects included district heating - Thornaby and Billingham; 100,000sf ac offices - Edinburgh; shopping centre - Sunderland; central redevelopment - Inverness; supermarkets - Associated Dairies

1967 - 1971 Newcastle Polytechnic Full time industrial course studying for CIBSE examinations

1961- 1967 Various building companies Studying for CIOB examinations
