Design, construction and contract with Crowley Project Management administration as an independent consultancy with specific responsibity to Crowley PM as required and which has included dealing rooms, storage and testing facilities for Toshiba, dealing room for Okasan, lighting and general consultancy to Maclean Hunter, consultancy to McGraw Hill, dealing room for Butler Harlow

1984 - 1987 Brian Ford Partnership Associate Partner responsible for hotels, dealing rooms, speculative office developments, reports for landlords and tenants on dilapidations, liability and life cycle costings, maintenance and general management on design and construction

1980 -1984 White Young Prentice Royale Chief electrical engineer.
Principal projects included supermarkets throughout UK; computer centre, Viking museum - York; coal mine reconstruction, poultry breeding unit - Egypt; coal mine feasibility study - Botswana; new port - North Yemen; extensions to Port Alexandria, central market - Dubai.

1978 - 1980 Reckitt & Colman Project electrical engineer with sole responsibility for the design and installation of electrical services for a new pharmaceutical works.

1977 - 1978 Alistair McCowen & Associates Senior electrical engineer on telephone exchange - Dubai, water treatment plant - Nigeria, university complex - Nigeria.

1968 - 1977 Trent Regional Health Authority Design and contract administration associated with various new and existing hospitals.

1962 - 1968 English Steel Corporation five year electrical apprenticeship.

Following an electrical engineering apprenticeship with English Steel Corporation, R.Watson obtained an HNC in electrical and electronic engineering and has used this and ever increasing knowledge and experience in a range of building and civil engineering projects.
